On Wednesday, MEPs adopted a text to protect employees wishing to give their blood over their working time, while taking care to frame the scheme to respond to employers' fears.
The bill provides for "a leave of absence" to allow all employees to give their blood. Voted at first reading on Wednesday in the National Assembly, the text must now be examined in the Senate.
