The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) criticized on Monday the "unilateral changes of the political system" on the part of the Palestinian Authority without "a national consensus", reports Europa Press. It did so after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared this Sunday a formal process of succession "in the event of a vacancy" that would put his vice president, Hussein al-Sheikh, as acting president until the holding of elections.
