84-Year-Old Driving 1930s Car Dies After Blowing Out Tire on I-75

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) -- A driver died following a tire blowout on Interstate 75 in Pasco County on Thursday. The 84-year-old Haines City man was in the northbound lanes north of SR-52 at 11:30 p.m. when the rear tire of his vehicle, a 1931 Ford Custom, suffered a blowout. The vehicle veered off the highway and struck a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries at the site of the crash.
