The hail that devastated the Goričko region was up to nine centimeters thick. How does such a large and destructive hail even form? For a huge hailstone to form, several conditions must be met in the atmosphere.

At the Šalovci elementary school, it shattered the skylights. Arso issued a yellow warning for half of Slovenia, where storms are still possible. But as they explained to STA, there is no longer a risk of hail.
