Growing concern over child sexual abuse in Gauteng Estelle.Bronkhorst Thu, 10/16/2025 - 06:30 JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng has recorded nearly 14,000 child sexual abuse cases in four years.That's according to Health MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko.She was responding to a DA question on recorded and investigated statutory rape cases.  We speak to Dr Shaheda Omar from the Teddy Bear Foundation to unpack these numbers.
