A school bus sat on a dead-end road in Grafton with its engine off and cameras dark, as a 5-year-old boy cried in his seat. He was the only passenger left on the bus, it was below freezing outside and it was getting late — just three days before Christmas after a long day at school — but the driver didn’t take him home.
