Ljubljana, 8 May 2025 – The President of the Republic received participants in the national liberation struggle and awarded the Golden Order of Merit to the Association of Fighters for the Values of the National Liberation Struggle of Slovenia. These days mark 80 years since the end of World War II. It was on 8 May 1945 that the capitulation of Nazi Germany was declared.
