JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The family of a Jeanerette girl who was killed in Iberia Parish is asking for help to bury her. Nahelie Sinitiere, 11, was hit by a car July 22, and died in the hospital two days later. State Police investigators said Nahelie was walking across East Admiral Doyle Drive near the intersection of Whitney Drive in Iberia Parish when she was hit by a Honda Civic.
