The GSMA confirms that Gopal Vittal will preside over the employer until the end of 2026 after Álvarez-Pallete was relieved.
Vittal will complete the remainder of the mandate of the former leader of Telefónica and during this period will oversee the strategic direction of the organization, which represents the most important operators and telephone companies in the world.
