Germany waives airport Transit Visa requirements for Indian nationals from June 3 - The Canadian Media

IBNS-CMEDIA: Germany has announced that Indian nationals will no longer require a Schengen Airport Transit Visa (Type A) when transiting through German international airports, effective June 3, 2026. The decision, first announced in January during German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s official visit to India on January 12–13, has now been formally published in the Federal Law
