Germany says two people arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia
Two suspects arrested for spying on a German drone supplier shipping to Ukraine, with surveillance starting December 2025 and possible plans for attacks, prosecutors said.
- Two people, Sergey N. and Alla S., were arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia by gathering intelligence on an individual supplying drones to Ukraine.
- Sergey N., a Ukrainian national, was arrested in Spain for spying on behalf of a Russian intelligence service from December 2025.
- Alla S., a Romanian national, took over Sergey N.'s assignment no later than March 2026 and was arrested in Germany.
