Former Ireland international and Cork Hibernians legend John Herrick has died at the age of 78. A rigid defender, Herrick won the League of Ireland Championship in 1971 as well as the FAI Cup and Blaxnit All-Ireland trophies the following year. His performances for the Leeside outfit earned him an international call-up and he made his debut in the green jersey against Austria in 1971, becoming the first Hibs player to represent the national side…
