Samsung Expands One UI 8 Beta to These Galaxy Devices, Stable Rollout in September

SOUTH KOREA, UNITED STATES, INDIA, UNITED KINGDOM, AUG 5 – Samsung will open One UI 8 beta to Galaxy S24 and foldables next week in select countries with new AI features and improved performance before a stable release in September.

  • On August 10, 2025, Samsung will let Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy S24 series users access the One UI 8 beta in India, the UK, and the US.
  • Based on Android 16, One UI 8 landed last month on Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7, and later this month, the beta expands to last-generation flagships.
  • The One UI 8 Beta 4 update arrives as a 1.25GB download for Galaxy S25 smartphones, delivering smoother animations, faster navigation, and an Emergency Update System for IMS service.
  • Next week, Samsung plans to expand the beta to last year’s flagship models, with users required to register through the Samsung Members app.
  • Starting in September, stable One UI 8 releases will roll out more broadly, and One UI 8 Watch plans to expand to more models later this year, Samsung said.
