Prague police are searching for two unknown perpetrators who posed as an employee of the Czech National Bank (ČNB) and a police officer. They attempted to defraud a man of 800,000 crowns after he captured the image of one of the suspects during their conversation on WhatsApp. Detectives are now appealing to the public for help, police spokesman Richard Hrdina said today. Police have repeatedly warned against several types of WhatsApp scams.
