France: The must-sees of Biarritz

Biarritz is located on the French Basque coast, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, a few kilometres from the Spanish border. This small fishing village became in the 19th century the resort of Empress Eugénie and Napoleon III. Today, it is a trendy seaside resort, where surfers from all over the world meet.
