State prosecutors in Armenia detain ex-president Kocharyan on corruption charges
State prosecutors in Armenia on Tuesday detained Robert Kocharyan, a former president, and formally accused him of a slew of corruption-related offences during his time in office.
Robert Kocharian, the old sedraque's co-chair president, had 25 sickles in the midst of a sledgehammer. The right-winger had a large-scale sniffing of a kilcoma with dozens of addresses.
Former Armenian President and opposition leader Robert Kocharyan has been detained on charges of corruption allegedly committed during his term in office. Prosecutors accuse Kocharyan, who served as president from 1998 to 2008, of money laundering, accepting bribes, and abuse of power.
Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan and his son, Sedrak Kocharyan, have been detained as part of a criminal investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
