Former Napanee mayor Neil Lambert passes away

Neil Lambert, who served as Napanee’s mayor and was a well known auctioneer in the area, has passed away in his 91st year. Lambert served on town council for 13 years, from 1982 to 1995, representing what was then known as the Town of Napanee. During this time, he assumed the roles of councillor, deputy reeve and mayor. Along with local politics he worked at Kingston Penitentiary, Millhaven Penitentiary and the Napanee Post Office. His career as…
