Jim Noe, 1950s UW Football Star Who Became Longtime Judge, Dies at 93

KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, JUL 6 – Jim Noe set a University of Washington record with a 77-yard fumble return and served as a King County judge for nearly four decades before retiring in 2008.

Noe was a three-year starter at UW as a linebacker and guard. In 1953, Noe returned a fumble 77 yards for a TD, the longest such play ever by a Husky at Husky Stadium.
