A former Bridgeport Athletic Booster Club officer has pleaded guilty to theft of thousands of dollars from the nonprofit organization. Aliza Rochel Cortez, 52, pleaded guilty April 3 in 271st District Court in Decatur to theft of property $2,500 to $30,000 enhanced.
