FC Cincinnati gauges Neymar's MLS interest

FC Cincinnati has initiated preliminary discussions to explore bringing Brazilian superstar Neymar to the United States for the 2027 season, evaluating the financial framework required for such a high-caliber signing.
Neymar remains under contract with Santos through the end of 2026 after extending his deal last December, though he is currently recovering from a knee procedure performed during the recent international break.
Despite missing two weeks due to the knee injury, Neymar recorded three goals and three assists across six appearances in 2026. Santos coach Cuca said the star underwent the procedure to "be raring to go" for the World Cup in June.
