峇眼国会议员兼亚逸布爹州议员林冠英欢迎能源委员会公布的新电费机制，预料逾2300万家庭用户将享有更公平且渐进式的电费。 根据媒体日前报导，在新机制下，用电量在1000千瓦时及以下的家庭用户，预计不会受到新电费表影响，而低压非家庭用户用电量在200干瓦时及以下者，也将从中受惠。 因此，他认为，新机制将有利于家庭用户，至于商业用户方面，仍有待进一步反馈。 他解释，目前还需观察商家是否能调整或适应，因为如果电费调涨太多，商家或应付不来，最终被迫将成本转嫁给消费者。 “我们也关心商家情况，若他们能适应，至少不会提高价格，进而导致通货膨胀，否则羊毛出在羊身上，可能将成本转嫁给消费者。” 他是于周六早上出席亚逸布爹区昌明关怀物资派发活动后，在记者会上如是表示。 他说，爱心销售活动（Jualan Rahmah）每月3次在该区举办，本月最后一次是6月26日（周四），而7月分别会在8日（周二）、17日（周四）及29日（周二）举行，地点是湖花园巴刹。 升旗山国会议员瑟丽娜则说，今次共派发60份价值约150令
