Lim Guan Eng · Penang峇眼区国会议员林冠英指出，他欢迎政府宣布，除了获得税收豁免资格，开出扣税收据的宗教团体外，其余非营利宗教团体皆不需开出电子发票的新指南。 他认为，此举意味着被电子发票政策影响的非盈利组织将大幅减少，对这些以公益慈善为主的社团组织无疑是一项好消息，也鼓励我国慈善事业发展。 无论如何，他强调，随着美国再度宣布，对马来西亚加征25%对等关税政策，已经引来我国民间和商家担忧，在新关税、我国扩大销售与服务税（SST）和调整电费三面夹击下，我国经济将面临重大压力。 他说，我国在美国重提新关税之际，大动作实行扩大SST和调整电费并不合时宜，除了增加民间和商家的压力外，对整体经济将造成更大不确定性。 他表示，本身了解政府有许多计划必须执行，但他冀望政府能够考虑如今时局，暂缓实行上述政策，以免增加人民负担。 他续说，如觉得势在必行也应分成多个阶段进行，如电费调整可循序渐进；至于SST则可效仿宗教组织豁免电子发票做法，免除更多领域在扩大SST名单内。 他是于周三下午，在新闻发布会上这么表示。出席者包括亚依淡Read Article
