On Budget Day (Prinsjesdag), celebrated today in the Netherlands, reports indicate that fires broke out on highways following acts of sabotage targeting railway lines, and there are indications that farmer groups are behind the incidents.

As a result, Prince's Day, which is celebrated every third Tuesday in September, was spoiled. People gather in The Hague to watch the King of the Netherlands arrive at Parliament in a golden carriage and inaugurate the new parliamentary year. People just couldn't get to the city.

The national action group is not coordinating any actions. "Regional groups are preparing regional actions," she says.
