The reduction in banana production in Ecuador alerts the exporting sector, which requested measures from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), to the affectation of crops of this product due to pests such as moko (Ralstonia solanacearum breed 2) and sigatoka, and that according to the Corporation of Exporting Guilds of Ecuador (Cordex), have affected more than 30% of banana crops in the country.
