Exhausted but Uninjured: RNC Officers Rescue Moose Calf from Fence
The RNC helped provincial conservation officers after a moose calf got caught up in a fence in Kilbride Friday night. RNC constables Trevor Kennedy and Adam Manuel were able to keep the young animal calm, while conservation officers Andrew Dyke and Patrick Lovell were able to free it from the fence. The RNC says the little animal was exhausted from its ordeal but otherwise uninjured and was safely relocated.
