As the conclave, gathered in Rome, prepares to elect a new pope, it is recalled that one of its predecessors had gone to Annecy: it was John Paul II. He had celebrated a Mass on the Paquier on October 7, 1986, during a visit that had also led him to Lyon. Back to the event with the photographic archives of the Dauphiné Libéré, the City of Annecy and the evocations that we had made on the occasion of the canonization of John Paul II in April 2014.
