The United Nations has released a report on femicide showing that one woman or girl is killed by a partner or family member almost every 10 minutes, with rates refusing to fall.
NEW YORK. A UN report is alarming: Last year alone, about 83,000 women were deliberately killed.
The data collected by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) indicate that there have been 137 femicides per day, i.e., maintaining the constant rate already verified in previous years, without any positive developments.
