Wayne, Logan counties receive Major Disaster Declaration
CHARLESTON — Wayne and Logan counties were added to the list of West Virginia counties approved for a Major Disaster Declaration following severe flooding last month, Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced last week. The federal government accepted his request for Individual Assistance in the two counties, meaning people who experienced significant damage to their homes or property can apply for funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
