More than 37 million Americans are drinking water from systems that exceed federal limits on toxic "forever chemicals" according to reporting by USA Today.

New data released by the EPA show that nearly half of people in the U.S. have drinking water contaminated by toxic “forever chemicals,” or PFAS

The tap water distributed to Parisians is "100% compliant with sanitary standards", but this result requires a clean-up that costs tens of millions of euros, according to Eau de Paris.

"Eternal pollutants," or PFAS, have been found in the tap water in Paris. The municipal water authority is looking for those responsible.

The mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, believes that industrialists will have to "responsible for their actions before the courts" and that "it is not for users to pay the bill".

The public drinking water authority confirmed this Friday, March 28 to file a complaint against X to charge the chemical industry the cost of decontamination to the eternal pollutants.
