Essentia Health Fosston Gets Diabetes Testing – R & J Broadcasting Inc.
Essentia Health announced Thursday that all the steps of diabetes testing will take place at its Fosston facility. Diabetes testing, also known as A1C testing, has been available in Fosston. But blood samples collected locally were then sent to an off-site laboratory, so it took longer to get test results. Now that analysis can take place on site, patients will get test results sooner, often on the same day.
