Espaillat Denounces Indiscriminate Arrests of Migrants Visiting a Detention Center in NJ

The American congressman of Dominican origin, Adriano Espaillat, expressed concern about the arrest and deportation of immigrants without criminal records, as well as the consequences of these actions on the separation of families in the United States, many of them composed of U.S. citizens. His statements came after a supervisory visit to the Elizabeth Detention Center in New Jersey.
