- From August 1 to September 1, Electoral Registration Officers will invite voters and recognized parties to submit claims and objections for corrections or inclusion.
- Over 7.23 crore enumeration forms have been received, representing 91.69% participation, but around 65 lakh names will be excluded due to death, migration, or duplicate registrations.

Bihar draft electoral rolls: The ‘SIR draft roll 2025’ has been released after the completion of month-long Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise ahead of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said that the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Bihar and the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of all 243 assembly constituencies will invite voters or any recognized political parties to come forward from August 1 to September 1 to add or delete names in the draft voter list and to give claims and objections for correction in voter information.

This would also kick off the process of "claims and objections", which would continue till September 1, and during the period, voters with complaints of wrongful deletion of names can approach the authorities concerned seeking a remedy.
