Drc: Sanctions Fall After Power Failure at Kinshasa-Ndjili Airport

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), airport officials stopped in Kinshasa after a major incident on the night of Thursday 11 to Friday 12 September at Ndjili International Airport. The presidential aircraft was held in the air for almost an hour due to an electricity breakdown. Other flights were delayed. The Director General of the Régie des voies aires and his deputies were arrested and heard by the police.
