Don Ramón López Rayón

He was born in Tlalpujahua, on August 31, 1775, son of Don Andrés López Rayón’s marriage to Rafaela López Aguado, and after doing his first studies in his homeland, he went to Mexico with his brother to pursue a career, which, by failing to succeed in its beginnings, left his studies to engage in commerce, helped his family until he managed to have a small “cajón” or clothing store at the Parán.
