A man was missing Sunday after his kayak overturned in Castaic Lake as a result of strong winds. Around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, a woman was rescued from the water after her kayak overturned, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. A man who was kayaking along with her was still missing, however, after he also overturned. As of 6 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department had taken over the investigation and rescue operation.
