The new Belgian provider DIGI has violated the regulations in the rollout of fiber optics in Brussels, a judge has ruled. The company installed the fiber optic connections above ground in some places, but did not have permission to do so.

The telecom operator Digi has breached Brussels' urban planning and signalling regulations, which is an unfair commercial practice, the Brussels Dutch-speaking company's court found in a judgment delivered on Thursday, which the Belga agency was able to consult.
