The subsidiary of the logistics group DHL meanwhile stopped shipping for corporate customers, because of ambiguities in new customs regulations. Now there is a solution, but it will be expensive.
After the USA had abolished an exemption for parcels, the shipment of goods was only limited. Now DHL resumes normal shipping for business customers - however, it becomes a little more expensive.
Business customers can send parcels to the USA again. Previously DHL had stopped shipping there because of new US tariffs. However, it will be more expensive for customers.
With relatively high tariffs, the US is asking Europe to pay, which also applies to online orders. In view of the complicated new rules, parcel companies initially largely stopped shipping.
