Urging female genital mutilation should be against the law: MPs

In the Netherlands, some 4,200 girls are currently at risk of becoming victims of female genital mutilation. Yet it can still be justified with impunity. The SP and VVD now want to put an end to that. They are submitting a bill that will make it a criminal offence to call for and glorify this form of genital mutilation.
