Denmark recorded on Saturday the highest temperature in the history of meteorological measurements, at 36.6°C in the north of Odense, on the background of an intense heat wave affecting much of Europe, according to the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI).
The Danish Meteorological Institute announced that the highest temperature was measured in that country today since official measurements began.
