- In Wazirpur, the highest AQI was 432, while 15 monitoring stations including Burari, Chandni Chowk, Dwarka Sector-8, Mundka, and Pusa recorded severe levels above 400.
- The Air Quality Early Warning System forecast pollution will remain very poor until at least Tuesday, prompting authorities to enforce Stage 2 restrictions and a commercial goods vehicles ban, warning harm to healthy people.
- The Delhi government attempted cloud seeding earlier this week, spending Rs 34 crore, but IIT Kanpur Director Manindra Agrawal said low moisture made induced rain unlikely despite a 6%-10% pollution drop at 15 monitoring stations.
