Delhi Rain Fury: Huge Tree Falls in Kalkaji, Man Crushed to Death, Woman Stuck

A large roadside Neem tree fell on a motorcycle, killing 50-year-old Sudhir Kumar and injuring his daughter Priya in Kalkaji on Thursday morning amid heavy rain.
The incident occurred as Delhi experienced heavy rainfall with the India Meteorological Department issuing an 'orange' alert and causing widespread waterlogging.
Local police swiftly responded, used a hydraulic crane and a JCB to free both victims, who were then taken to Safdarjung Trauma Centre for treatment.

Authorities warned commuters to avoid Old GT Road due to waterlogging at multiple locations, and municipal teams were alerted for pruning to prevent further incidents.
