Deer causes chain-reaction crash on the Maine Turnpike

A deer caused a chain-reaction crash on the Maine Turnpike on Tuesday evening. The deer was crossing the southbound side of the turnpike, near mile marker 13, in York about 7:13 p.m. when a red Mitsubishi Mirage hit it in the center lane, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
