Deadly Car Explosion Strikes Near New Delhi's Red Fort

  • On Monday, a car exploded near Gate Number 1 of the Red Fort metro station in New Delhi, killing at least eight people and injuring several others.

  • Traffic around the Red Fort, Old Delhi and Chandni Chowk was diverted and commuters advised to avoid routes amid recent recoveries of around 360 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate and arrests including Dr Muzammil Ganaie.
