- De Minaur hit 19 winners and wrapped the match in one hour and 47 minutes, converting five break points in the 11th game with a backhand. He said, `For me it just shows consistency, and that is what I am most proud of`.
- He will next meet Daniil Medvedev or Learner Tien in the quarterfinals, improving his ATP Finals qualification chances as he sits seventh in the ATP Live Race To Turin.
