Birutė Davidonytė, chairwoman of the Association of Professional Journalists, says that the Seimas working group considering changes to the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) law will return to the same amendments that sparked protests for free speech. According to her, the summary of proposals sent to the working group members suggests easing the procedure for dismissing the head of the public broadcaster.
