Data of over 10M customers exposed in cyberattacks on Japanese firms
Daiwa Securities said 220,000 records may have been affected, while Yakiniku King’s parent company said more than 10 million user accounts were exposed.
Several Japanese companies and a university reported that they had been exposed to cyberattacks since yesterday and that their sensitive data had been compromised, potentially affecting millions of customers, service users, students and teachers in a series of separate incidents.
