Crews rescue two climbers within three days on cliffs near Index

A climber who fell from a cliff wall near the town of Index is now recovering after a dramatic helicopter rescue. It was one of two rescues in that area last week. MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A climber is recovering after falling 35 feet while climbing at Indian Creek in Menifee County, officials say. According to rescue crews, the climber was leading a route when a handhold broke and his equipment failed, causing him to fall to the ground.
