Craven County woman faces felony animal cruelty charge
PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) -- A 54-year-old woman who was arrested in Pitt County in late May was charged with a felony count of animal cruelty. Angela Sue Aldridge of Craven County was charged by the River Bend Police Department and booked on May 29, 2025. According to a press statement, Aldridge "willfully and intentionally caused the death of a cat by depriving it of necessary sustenance." Her bond is set at $10,000.
