A crash temporarily shut down all lanes of northbound Highway 101 in East Palo Alto Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The wreck happened south of University Avenue, according to the CHP. Video of the aftermath showed the remains of a charred car that apparently caught fire during the incident. Highway 101 lanes were reopened after an accident that caused the road to close northwards on East Palo Alto. The crash occurred on Monday afternoon in the University Avenue area. It is not yet known whether they were injured in the accident.
