Netflix Is Reportedly Making Crash Bandicoot Animated Series

On Monday, What's on Netflix reported that Netflix is quietly developing a Crash Bandicoot animated series with WildBrain Studios, though plot details are being kept under wraps.
Crash Bandicoot first appeared in Naughty Dog's 1996 PlayStation 1 platformer and the franchise returned with Activision's 2017 N. Sane Trilogy and 2021's Crash 4: It's About Time.
WildBrain Studios worked on Sonic Prime and partnered with Netflix on Ninjago: Dragons Rising and Carmen Sandiego, while also developing a Minecraft animated series.
The reported series is likely still a ways off, and if produced, it would join Netflix's slate of game adaptations after Crash Bandicoot's guest appearance in Skylanders Academy.
An earlier Amazon-animated Crash Bandicoot show was reportedly canned in 2021, and fans and commentators urged that Crash remain non-speaking as in the games.
